D's been "jumping," but like Dylan, it's not two-footed. I'm still not terribly concerned because he was also a late walker (18m).

Right at two she could do a two footed jump.

@travellingbee: they are suppose to do it around age 2, give or take

It was close to 3 for LO 1.

Dd started jumping around 20 months

DS is super cautious physically, so he still can't jump at 28 months. He started walking at 16 months.

My daughter turns 2 next month and she mastered jumping within the past 3 weeks - started with the one footed bounce but she kept practicing it a LOT and now she gets both feet off the ground almost every time If she hadn't been so interested in it, it probably could have been a while though - she saw some older kids jumping around and really wanted to do it since then! She started walking just before 11 months if that matters

My LO is 22 months and tries (because kids in her class at daycare jump a lot when certain songs come on during dance time) but she can't quite get both feet off the ground yet. She's close! I think by 24-25 months she will get it.

N just started jumping around 2.5. Never occurred to me that it was an issue.

@Mrs Green Grass: @jedeve: same january age and an early walker (10 months), not cautious at all and she still doesn't jump! but i think she thinks she is jumping. we've gone to the trampoline park, practiced jumping, etc, but she still doesn't get off the ground! she bends her knees and goes up and down, but no air. i just kinda laugh and figure she'll get it one day! she usually learns by watching but the girl just cannot figure it out.

By 18 months he was getting both feet off the ground. But he also started walking at 10 months. Now his favorite thing to do is hop across the room!

i honestly can't remember with olive, but i know it was late. she too hit all physical milestones late and didn't walk until 18 months. i'm sure it was well into the 2's... and now she won't stop jumping at 3.5!

About 19 months. She's been on the early side for that kind of stuff.

DD1 is behind on this as well. She'll be 3 next month and still isn't jumping. She does a kind of tiptoes bobbing up and down movement with big arm movements but isn't actually getting her feet off the floor. I'm not hugely concerned yet but she also still sits in the W sit all the time (I correct her but she subconsciously goes right back to it a minute later and actually can't balance very well in a cross legged position) so I am wondering if it is all related. I plan on calling our Health Visitor in the next week or two to discuss this further .

My son had low tone and started PT at around 1. Walked at 17 months and is not jumping yet at 2 years & 2 months old. He's getting close though!

Abi will be 2.5 next month and we are still waiting. She has always been on the latter end of things, started walking at 18 months.

26 months and no jumping just a little tip toeing but she's very cautious. A little boy at her daycare does broad jump across the room at 14 months or so. Everyone is on their own timeline but it's really fun to watch.

My LO will be 3 next month and doesn't really jump - she makes the right movements and excitedly says "I'm jumping!!" but her feet don't leave the ground. She is *extremely* physically cautious though (was a later walker, and even at almost 3 still won't go up/down stairs by herself, will only do it holding hands or a rail and zero interest in climbing anything) so I'm not really surprised, and definitely not worried.
