Af returned last month at 6.5 months pp... No sign of her return yet.
With ds1 af returned at 4.5 months and didn't get a second visit til almost two months later.

I got one at 7 weeks, 10.5 weeks, 6.5 months and then not another but then I got pregnant at 9 months. I miscarried and after that my cycles were normal length.

I'm almost 29 months pp, and in the last 3 months it has kind of started to regulate. But, it didn't come back for me until 21 months pp (nursed for 19 months). I'm pretty sure I'm not the norm.

I recently finished my fourth PP AF. Two 34 day cycles and this most recent one was 28 days. That feels pretty regular for me but I didn't get AF until 12 or so weeks (weaned at 6 weeks).

I got it at 11 months pp and they were regularish after that (ranging 26-38 days)

I was about to make a similar post! First PP period at 6.5 months but haven't had one since (currently 8 months PP). I'm on the mini pill and still breastfeeding so I am sure that contributes to the irregularliy. I took a pregnancy test this week just to be sure!

They were regular after I got it at 6 months for both. But it was heavy. At 1.5 years post partum it's finally starting to get lighter.

AF returned when we stopped BFing at 9 months. It took about 5 cycles before it was a typical 30ish days again. It was bouncing from 45 to 23 and back again.

With LO1, I had one period 6 months pp and then accidentally got pregnant with LO2
Period came back about 8 months pp with LO2 and seemed basically normal immediately.

I had 1 at 12 months pp and then got pregnant. So who knows! I'll just need to wait and see what happens after lo2 arrives.

I had spotting at 8.5 months pp and it didn't come back until 10 months but wasn't normal until I stopped breastfeeding at 15.5 months!

@rpparker: I'm on the mini pill & still bf, too, at 9mo pp. I've been wondering when AF will show up. I tested a month or so ago, too, because I felt a little nauseated for a few days, but bfn.

I got af @6.5 months pp, once I stopped pumping. I then got regular monthly periods, but the length of my cycle varied for a few months.

Got it back at 9 mo pp after weaning.

af returned at 7 moths, and then the first cycle was long, like closer to 40 days than 30. but after then it's been pretty regular

@GoGoSnoGirl: I didn't start taking the mini pill until after my first PP period but I have heard of so many people who do not have a period on it! I knew the chances were basically 0 that I could be pregnant but I almost hate not having a period to keep track! I'm going to regret saying that I'm sure

Who knows?? Seriously, though. I got it back last summer at 15 months PP, and it still hasn't really regulated. My cycle gets longer each time by a few days, so I'm just now expecting that to be the way it goes. I don't know what it will take to regulate it again.

Mine didn't come back until we dropped to one nursing session at 19 months. Apparently it was very regular because I got pregnant 2 weeks after that.
Hoping it takes a long time to come back again but I'm getting mirena on Friday and don't know how that will affect things.
