I know some women have pain with latch on even if doing it right. When does it go away?

It took almost a month for me!

it gradually diminished about 3 weeks but every now and then I get it again especially if I miss a pumping session, it hurts for days afterwards

Took about a week and a half for me!

8.5/9 wks...but Lo did a lot of damage to my nips due to his tongue tie so that had to heal as well.

It still hurts at 2 weeks. I find that it does help to pump a little beforehand.

3-4 weeks!

It took a couple months for me. She had a really strong suck, so the initial latch always caught me by surprise.

About 2-3 weeks for me.

Six weeks for me.

8 weeks. Also had a lot of damage that needed to heal.

6 weeks for me, but the last three weeks of it was only a sharp pain when LO initially latched on and went away after about ten seconds.
