LO's name was picked out before she was even conceived. We had a boy and girl's name ready for when we found out the gender. We already have our next LO's name picked out..... a different boy and girl's name.

We had our girl named picked out before our gender scan, but could never decide on a boy name.
We have our next girl name picked out, but still can't agree on a boy name!

Soon after we found out the sex. Both times we picked a name we hadn't really considered before finding out the sex. (We named DS2 in the parking lot, leaving the ultrasound appointment lol)

After an (elective) 16 week scan. DH wouldn't discuss names until he knew whether we were Team Blue or Team Pink!

DH wouldn't discuss names til after our anatomy scan, but we had both secretly composed lists. Funny enough, our lists were really similar and the night after our scan we pretty much knew what we were going to name him. If we have another boy, we already have his name picked out because we agonized over whether or not to choose it for this LO.

Actually, I've always liked this name. I told my husband about it on our honeymoon in Venice when we saw a street named the same name. He agreed that he liked it and viola! Now a picture that we took of the sign is hanging in her room.

My oldest was decided before we were matched with a birth mother. My twins I would not discuss until viability. I let my husband start talking to me about it at 25 weeks. It took about three more weeks to decide. My daughter we picked the night of her anatomy scan.

We had liked Liam for a long time before we got pregnant, but after we found out it was a boy, we did talk about some other options. We came back to Liam in the end, though!

we already have a girl and boy named picked out from before we were even ttc!

We didn't decide on his first name until I was 30-something weeks pregnant (and even then we weren't positive, although we would have used it as a middle if we didn't use it for a first). I chose his middle name after he was born.
We had a girl short list, and I really have no idea how long we might have debated it if we'd ended up with a girl--we had three names we LOVED, and none more than the others.

I think around 22 weeks and we.knew for sure around 30 weeks pierson was going to be his name.

We had it narrowed down to where we were reasonably sure of her name by the time I was like 34 weeks. We dis t officially decide until she was born.

We had our girl name all picked out but when we found out it was a boy it took us about 2 days to take our list of about 5 boy names and pick an official one.

We had names picked out before she was conceived but we narrowed it down before our elective 16 week scan. I'm so glad she was a girl because we were still undecided on a boy's name. She definitely fits her name though.

We came up with a name about 2 weeks after we found out DS was a boy. With #2 we threw around a few names before we found out gender and settled on two that we'll go in with and choose when she's here

I made a list with favorites, DH narrowed it down to a top 5 at 36 weeks, a top 3 at 37 weeks and I got him to commit to one at 38 weeks!!! (which is good because E was born at 38w4d :))

Her first name about three months before she was born. Her middle name was super hard to choose and we only really decided a few days before she was born.

We have a girl's name picked out, but not a boy's, and luck has it. we're having a boy!! I'm currently 28 weeks, and need to decide on a name soon.

We had narrowed it down once I was in the third trimester. We wouldn't even think of names until we got through the anatomy scan since I had the prior miscarriages. We finalized it probably within the last month of pregnancy.

Since we were TG the gender scan played no part in our timeline. I wanna say we had names by the time I was 20ish weeks. We have names picked out, or almost picked out, for our next already.

We discussed names before pregnant when friends had babies. We didn't discuss names once pregnant till we knew the gender.

We had our son's name picked out and decided on before we even started trying to have a baby. A friend made a bet with us and, if we lost, we'd have to name our first born son after him. We won the bet, but we liked the name so much that we asked if we could still use it. We asked our friend about 1,000 times if it was still okay after we found out we were having a boy.
Before the anatomy scan, we had decided on a girl name. So if we have a girl in the future, we've got a name. We'll have to really think if we ever have another boy.

Currently, we already have middles names picked out for a boy or girl.

We had a boys name picked out from a year ago (about 6 months prior to ttc) Hubs came up with it all by himself using 2 very nice family names and i loved it! Girls, however, are another story.... we tabled that discussion until we know for sure were having a girl at the anatomy scan.

We were team green but we did not officially decide until we saw her. My dh chose the name that we went with and we had come up with it around 37-38 weeks. We were indecisive on a boys name. Funny thing is we have names for a future boy and girl (still working on middle names).

When we first got together as a couple, long before I was pregnant, we somehow decided on a boy and a girls name. We revisited names when we found out the sex, but the conversation was short and the original names stuck. Our original boys name became DS's and if this baby is a girl we will be using our original girls name that we picked out over 5 years ago!

We had our boys name picked out before we even TTC. For girls, we had it narrowed down to three names prior to the anatomy scan. Luckily, it was a boy so it made our job easier!

We picked LO's name before we knew if we were having a boy/girl...I think we decided on his name at about 12/13 weeks.

This is totally kooky, but I had a dream about 5 or 6 years before I had DS that I had a baby boy and gave him his name. Fast forward in time. When I met DH, I found out that his two middle names were my top two boy choices, including the one in my dream. As soon as I knew I was pregnant, I knew it was going to be a boy and 9 months later DS was given DH's two middle names as his first and middle names.

We discussed names at about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant and immediately settled on two girl names. Boys were a lot harder but we eventually decided on two, although we didn't love them as much as our girl names.
About 38 weeks pregnant, we scrapped our boy names and came up with a whole new one if LO turned out to be a boy (we were TG). LO was a girl and as soon as she was born, we knew which one of the girl names we were going with.

We had our boy name the night I found out I was pregnant, I just *knew* it was a boy. Didn't have a girl name.
I have no idea on future LO's though, haven't given it much thought.

First name was decided before X was conceived. It was a pretty easy decision.
Middle name was decided while I was in early labor. We had been going back and forth between 2 really great middle names that we both really loved. But when I was in labor it felt like we had to make a decision, so we did.

YEARS before Mr. Hedgie and I were even married or seriously considering children. Heck, in all reality, I had the name before I even met Mr. Hedgie! He just happened to love it when we were dreaming of future baby names. So, when we found out she is a girl, Kaia Lynn it is! Without a second of thought.
(We had a feeling we were having a boy and were seriously struggling for a name. Thank God she isn't! Otherwise he wouldn't have ever had a name!)
