DD1 was over 2 before she had enough hair for piggies. DD2 is almost 14m and just got her first piggies, today!

Define "enough" lol. I was able to do this at 15 mo with LO. But they were a little silly because they were so tiny, and also she ripped them out in like 3 minutes...

Same as @Mae: ! Technically I'm able to get piggies in, but she will not tolerate it for more than a few minutes. This was at 16 months.

According to IG DD2 had her first at 11 weeks. I imagine DD1 was the same timeframe.

LO was born with a lot of hair! She was not eating solids yet when we did her first pigtails, so 3 or 4 months.

Practically when she was born haha. I've never done pigtails, but she would have had enough hair probably... 3 months old? DD2 though is 8 months and still only has a little fuzz haha. She'll probably be 5 before she has enough even for baby pigtails

Barely now at 3! Littlest is 20 months and has enough for tiny ones, but flips out when I try to do anything to her head.

Teachnically at 3.5 she still deoesn't really have enough hair for a proper pig tail or two, They are just too tiny!
It's never really been long yet.
Neither my huband or I had hair that got long very early. Soon!

DD2 has less in the back and more on the top.

Around 2, although they were substantial ones by then, not baby ones (guess I could have tried that earlier).

Mini piggies at 6 months. Not my child but essentially the hair do.

Recently and she's two and a half. I tried them when she's was younger but they just looked silly. And her hair is so fine I couldn't get them to stay. My little baldy!

Itty bitty piggies around 15 months. They're still pretty tiny now, but that doesn't stop me
@oliviaoblivia: your children have gorgeous hair!
