I didn't start working out for 3 months PP after having LO. I want to start earlier and do more intense workouts this time!

Not until 3 months pp. I started weight watchers then. Still have a few more pounds to go at 5 months pp.

I've lost all the baby weight but really need to work on toning...I'm giving myself til April (6 months pp) and then I'm going to hopefully get a jogging stroller and start using that as the weather gets nicer.

i've been getting serious with exercising since about 2.5 months pp (i;m 4m pp now). And i have slowly been working on my eating habits and cutting out unnecessary calories also over the past 2 months, but doing much better only in the past couple of weeks.

I didn't. Exercise is a big migraine trigger for me. It took awhile to lose the baby weight, but now I'm five pounds less then when I got pregnant with lo. Id still like to lose 15 pounds though .....

For those who are breastfeeding, does intense exercise or dieting affect milk supply?

Ha, he's 11 months today and I still haven't gotten serious about it. I tried at 3 months, but once he stopped napping at 6pm everyday, I lost my workout time. Now I try to squeeze it in after he goes to bed, but exercising that late makes it really difficult for me to go to sleep. I eat pretty well anyways, but I need to really cut out all my carbs to get rid of the rest, I'm sure. One day....

@Mrs. High Heels: I started working out at 6 weeks pp. Didn't notice a drop in supply, but I was drinking a ton of water.
I stopped working out because DH's travel schedule. :T Really need to get serious about it again!
I ran/walked on the treadmill. Nothing super intense.

I started to get serious about a week ago (4 months pp) and am exercising every other day and doing weight watchers, but have been super slack about the latter. Trying to pick up the pace as although winter was great for hiding flabby thighs and arms, spring is not so forgiving

I didn't! Lol. All of my weight fell off by about 6-7 months pp just from breastfeeding & my diet restriction. I was super protective of my supply & here in Texas I have alot of trouble staying hydrated so I've avoid any real exercise.... figure running around with my 8 y/o & going up and down the stairs is enough. lol

I started walking about 3 weeks pp but just started c25k last week (at 7 weeks pp).

@Mrs. High Heels: I've been worried about this. A varies so much day to day in how much she wants so maintaining supply is hard for me and I don't want to make it worse... So I only exercise every other day and I'm doing the 30 day shred so only 20 mins at a time rather than running or long workouts.

I haven't been serious yet and I'm 11 months pp. yikes. With summer approaching I'm getting more motivated though!

Were 5m in and I am just now working out.
I lost all the weight within 8 weeks, doing absolutely nothing. So, I thought I was awesome....but then my prepreg clothes didn't look good and some wouldn't even button, although the scale says "i'm back".
So, I need some toning for sure...maybe an extra 5lbs for fun.
I started jogging 3 days ago and I stated Jillian's 30 day shred about 5 days ago. Tomorrow I am cutting out all drinks except water (I'm not a huge eater but I drink my calories in the form of lattes and the like..)

After my first, um 1 day pp. In the hospital, I only ate salad and fruit! I worked out at 4 weeks and by 8 weeks pp I was 10 pounds under my pre-preg weight (I think I was 139).
With DD, I just started a week ago. At 9 months pp. I didn't have any motivation and taking care of two was so much more exhausting - I'm finally starting to feel normal!

I'm 6 months pp and had lost all the weight on my own without worrying about it, then gained over the holidays, and now I'm planning to lose again but I've honestly been really busy in the past few weeks, much more than usual.. But I usually lose weight more by watching what I eat than intense working out. (I know I know bad..)

@Mrs. High Heels: i've been paleo-ing (85/15) since 2 months pp and haven't noticed an issue with BFing/supply.
i started 30ds at 6 weeks pp and random mile runs... and then stopped the last month of mat leave... been paleo-ing and watching what i eat mostly and i'm about 10 lbs away from pp weight.
i fit into my pp jeans and most of my clothes fit (aside from button down shirts)... just need to get rid of this soft pouchy tummy.

Hmmm, I started working out at 5 weeks PP, but that was more for the mental benefits than to lose weight. I started WW at 13 weeks PP (and also stopped working out then since I was back at work and had no time) and did it for about 5-6 weeks and lost the rest of the baby weight.

Right now. 5 months pp. I have been working out since beginning of January but right now I am absolutely sick of my body and just working out when I feel like it. This week, workouts from here on in are planned and more hardcore.
I did 7.3km run yesterday and cant wait for my next run, finally.

When she was 14 months old. I finally got time and I was just SICK of looking at myself. I've lost 16 lbs since November. Not a lot, but after birth, I lost all the weight, then gained it all back...yeah. -_- I'm using my fitness pal to lose weight as well by restriting my calories and I have a trainer at the gym helping me.(never realized how cheap they were!)
