My DD is 3 months. When she is in her car seat with a blanket she rubs it against her face and is clearly calmed down by it. She sleeps in her crib swaddled. I wouldn't introduce one now but I'm curious at what age should we think about it?

Every baby is different. We tried multiple times before DS was 1 and he was just not interested at all. Around 16 months we reintroduced a lovey and by 18 months a teddy bear, and now he loooves them. He's not addicted though, so we can leave the house without them. For him, they are mostly for sleep and travel.

We did at 6 months when we did some sleep training, and I'd say she really loved her blanket by 7 months. Sounds like your LO likes hers! You can always introduce it now for car rides and before naps but wait on her sleeping with it until you're comfortable. We have the aden + anais one and it is so thin and breathable that I was comfortable letting her sleep with it by 6 months.

DS is 3 months, and we've introduced one while nursing and when he's in his car seat. He seems to like it!

Around 5 months, when we transitioned to his own room in the crib...he used to rub his face with the -a+a blankets too so we got him the a+a security blankies.

He is really struggling with swaddle weaning, so we got him an Angel Dear lovie. He's 4 months.
