I know she's still young (2.5) but I've been noticing lately that she does everything almost exclusively with her left hand. If she's drawing, eating, throwing a ball, it's with her left. She will even pick up a crayon with her right but then transfer it to her left before she starts colouring.
I find it fascinating - DH and I are both right handed (though he does all his sports left handed) so a lefty LO wasn't on my radar. I wonder if it will stick!

Well she always tucked her left thumb in utero...;)
But as soon as she started eating with a utensil we noticed. And it was true for when she started using crayons....so before 2.
Now she is almost 4 and is very, very left handed.

We are not sure about my LO. She's almost 2, and she does a lot with her left, but also some with her right. I'm a leftie, and so is DH's dad, so it's pretty likely we'll get at least one leftie!

My husband and MIL are both lefties, so we started to think my son was a leftie around 18 months. at 3 he does mostly everything left-handed. My BIL was trying to teach him how to play guitar and DS was like, that's not how I hold it and flipped the guitar around to the other arm.

Pretty much right away. He's always favored his left hand with everything so we're 99% sure he's a lefty.

Very young, before a year old. If you gave her food in her right hand, she'd always transfer to her left hand. At 2.5 years old, she does everything left handed. Holds utensils, crayons, wants to put the left boot on first, left leg goes in pants first, etc.

He showed the preference early but people told us it doesn't mean anything before 2. But now he's almost 3 and almost always eats, draws, grabs things with his left hand.

DH is convince LO is, but she's only 8mo, so I doubt it. His twin sister is a leftie, so I guess that's why it's on his radar.
