DD is 3weeks 5 days and already in size 0-3 month. We are going to FL when she is 11 weeks and I want to start getting her vacation clothes. I'm not sure if I should get 0-3 month or 3-6 month? When did your LO make the switch?

I can't help you because LO is 2w old...but, I'm tagging myself to this thread because we're going on vacation when LO is 10w, so I'm curious!
My (inexperienced) guess is that LOs stay in 0-3 for awhile...i'd say until 11 or 12 weeks. I'd think you'd be good...especially if your going somewhere hot...where she will be wearing shorts and a tank or t-shirt...because then you won;t have to worry about her legs being too long for pants or arms too long for sleeves.

It varies by baby. My LO was a preemie so we are just now moving to 3 - 6 months and he is 5 months old. My best friends baby is 4 months old and already wearing 6 - 9 month clothes, so you never know. It all depends on your LO.

I have no experience with this yet, but I would say go ahead and buy some basic clothes she'll wear regardless of location/season in the next size up if you haven't already (i.e. onesies, leggings, sleepers). That way you'll have those if she has grown into them by then!
Also, I'm always the kind of shopper to buy when I see a good deal and then just have clothes ready as needed.
I'd hold off on anything "vacation-specific" you want until closer to the time - that is unless you find a scorching good deal!

My little girl is on the smaller side. I think she started wearing 3-6 when she was 4 months old. I'm like @shopaholic - if I see a good deal, I'll buy clothes in advance... L already has clothes up to 2 years and she's only 8 months old I'd start buying some 3-6 clothes if I were you, and if your LO can't fit into them when it's closer to vacay time, maybe you can buy a couple 0-3 things?

Sawyer went into 3-6 months at 8 weeks old, and wore them for about 3 1/2 months.

My LO just started wearing 3 to 6 a month ago (maybe 3 weeks?) And she is almost 6 months old.

@shopaholic: Same here. I have clothes all the way up to 24 months, and I'm not even due till March...

I agree that it depends. My LO started wearing 3-6 around 8 weeks but could still wear some of the bigger 3 month clothes since her main issue seems to be length. At 15 weeks, 2 days we're about to order some 6-9 month clothes.

LO is wearing 3 month right now and she is 9 weeks. 6 month is way too big still. She fits in a couple 0-3 month things but mostly 3 months. I agree that it does depend on the baby though. DD is probably about 10.5-11lbs?

Around 2 months for sleepers, she's really long! But right around 3 months for other clothes.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: We both have little peanuts! I was so excited when he graduated from 0 - 3 months to 3 - 6 month clothes the other day.
