both names right before we had to sign the birth certificate!

We picked out a name for LO about a week after we found out we were having a girl. We've had a boy name picked out for years though.

He had the boy's name and I the girl name's name, had both by 20wks, although we didn't find out the sex.

@photojane: My BIL and SIL were the same-- they have had them picked out since HS (they were dating in high school).

I had a girl's name that I like before I got pregnant. I ran it by DH once I started my 2nd trimester, and he liked it too -- so we decided to go with it. If we were having a boy, things were going to be much more difficult b/c we were having a really difficult time coming up with a name that we both really liked.

We've had a girl's name picked out for ages, and a second girl's name. We started discussing a second boy's name this weekend, which altered our preference for the first's name. As to when: I hope I'm pregnant this cycle - I had to buy new bras because I'm up over a cup size in the past week.

Around 32 weeks for us too. We didnt talk a lot about namesuntil after the 20 week ultrasound when we found out the gender. We are both stubborn so it took a whhile to agree,

I read through 3 baby books , one of them repeatedly to figure out names. We had two girls names narrowed down before we found out the gender (although everyone had a hunch it was a girl, husband included).

As soon as the midwife said it was a girl, one of the names just popped out and my first thought was that. DH has been wanting to call her by her name since then and we have =) Although we haven't announced it yet and no one knows except for my cousin who's having twins around the same time.

We decided on a first name after our 18 week u/s where we found out the baby was a girl. We came up with our middle name later after pursuing baby books. We thought we had my middle name set for her but it didn't go with her first name so we had to change that.

We had a whole list of names picked out before we were married (dated since high school so we were together for 10 years before our wedding), but slowly the names were crossed off as they were taken by friends or became too popular. When I got pregnant I was set in a girls and outs name, but he began having second thoughts. We ended up choosing a new girl name after we found out the gender at the 20-week scan. Shortly after we decided on a boy name for the next one but no second girl name yet!

We started talking about baby names after we got married. When we started TTC we decided we didn't want to use those anymore so we started over. Almost a year later we haven't conceived, but we have finally decided on one baby name for a boy and one for a girl. It was hard to come to an agreement so I don't think we will be changing our minds again.

We have had 2 boy names picked out since we were dating, however one we are not sure of anymore due to a friend using it for her girl.

I had a girl name picked out before we met & he was on board with it until we got pregnant, and now he doesn't like it. So we are seaching for a girl name, not the easiest!

We had names licked out way before we knew we were pregnant. We revised names when we found out, but still stuck with the same names. If we have anoter baby and it's a girl we will use the original girls name we had picked out for years.

We have a couple of options for our LO - but we won't be picking until they are born.
