I initially was going to major in math/computer science... but decided to major in Economics instead in the Spring of my freshman year.
In retrospect, I chose my major too soon. If I could do it all again, I'd keep my computer science major and combine it with Economics!

Five years after high school graduation! I bided my time doing generals because I didn't know what I wanted to do, finished my associates in general education and took a break to figure it out. In that time I got married and had a child, and it must have given me clarity because I returned to school when J was 1.5

Officially I chose it before I transferred to a university as a junior. I spent 5 years at various community colleges trying to figure it all out. I think I changed my mind on a major 5 times? And now looking back I wish I had stuck with one of my earlier choices.

I chose my senior year of high school because I had to apply to get into a specific program.

I basically knew going in but didn't have to officially declare until the end of sophomore year. I think I really knew after the first semester though

I went into a specific program, so I guess I decided my senior year of high school, but then switched at the start of my sophomore year, and then again at the end of my sophomore year. I'm happy with what I ended up with as it opened the door to grad school, which then led to my career, which then took me all around the world.

End of freshman year, when I switched from the Arts and Sciences program (undecided) to the School of Mgmt (finance).

The moment I had to register for classes... I went in determined to be a Theater major. Reality hit when I realized how few jobs I could get with that so I switched to my other passion Criminal Justice. I wish I had taken some theater classes still since that is part of the reason I even went to that school but I loved the classes I took.

at the end of my freshman year. I wish I'd known more about my job prospects when I chose though. I graduated With a BA in English with a History Minor, then took an Elementary Education Program after to be certified to teach. I would have taken the offered TESOL courses for a second minor so I"d be infinitely more employable.

In grade 11 of high school. I had to apply directly to a university program so I had to be fairly certain before starting my last year of high school.

Junior year of HS. Wanted to major in Political Science and did....too bad there was no good jobs out there! Went back to school 2 years later.

I was probably in junior high when I knew I wanted to be a teacher. But I did start as a music education major and changed my mind and switched to an English education major at a different University sophomore year of college.

Midway through Freshman year. I went to school interested in interior design (I still am not sure why) and ended up studying English with an emphasis in Creative Writing after the reccomendation of a professior. I have done very little with the creating writing concentration because I went into teaching.

Senior year of high school. I was open to changing it, but ended up studying now exactly what I said I would on those college/scholarship applications!

I'm surprised at how many people chose in high school! I went to a junior college and basically didn't know what I wanted to do, so I took enough classes so that I could apply as three different majors at a four year university. I basically applied as one major and changed my major at orientation.
But then I decided my senior year of uni to go to library school and get my Master's. But I think if I had known technical writing was a thing I may have done that.

Senior year of high school. My dad always told me to major in something I enjoyed, and I could figure out a job further down the road. Majored in English (focused on literature), ended up in public relations.

I pre-declared psychology, switched mid-freshman-year to education, and finally settled on social work by the end of the year.
