DS is 29 months and I think I missed a window when he was really interested and now he's not that interested. They say most boys train closer to age 3. When did you train your son?

We started about two weeks ago with LO (boy) around 25 months or so. Our daycare encouraged it earlier than we initially anticipated. It's been okay so far. He still likes to say "all fine" and "no" when it comes to the potty time. Once he's on it, he'll go.

Age 3, we had a long international flight before and I didn't want to deal with the confusion of pull ups versus underwear on the trip.
I also missed the window when my son was about 28 months.

Started at 32 months and potty trained about 2 weeks later. I delayed it because I've heard that boys train later and I trained my daughter at 27 months. But it turned out that my son was much easier to train and caught on a lot faster. Had I known that, I would have done it sooner.

My two good friends potty trained their boys at
-2 years 6 months (she waited until after she had her second baby)
-2 years 4 months (she did it over Labor Day weekend)
But I have 2 other friends that have boys closer to 3 and they weren't successful in their initial try and are waiting to try again closer to the holidays

We trained at 30 months, and it went really well with the 3 day method. I had him in underwear that week!

23 months because I couldn't deal with two in diapers! Day was quick but it took a few months until he was consistently dry at night. It seems like 26-28 months is a popular time, but I also have friends that trained after age 3.

My little guy is 31 months old(I had to calculate that, I didn't know it off the top of my head) and we haven't really started yet. I have one friend how has a little guy who will be 3 in December and he is potty trained, and two friends who have 3 year olds right now and they aren't 100% potty trained.
