We are having newborn photos done in the first 2 weeks, due September 25.
When did you send out your birth announcements?

I sent ours 6 weeks after LO was born! Kinda late...

We took pics when LO was 4 weeks old, ordered cards, and probably sent them out when she was close to 6 weeks old as well.

His pictures were taken at 2.5 weeks and we sent them out at 4 weeks.

Hmm okay! I was wondering if I could get away with it being a holiday card too..probably not..darn!

Reading the above responses is hilarious because you guys are so on top of things compared to us. We sent ours out at 7 MONTHS. I figured it was like wedding thank you cards-- if they got out before the end of the year it would be a success.

I think I am just going to wait and send them out with christmas cards! (I'm due any day now...but don't feel like sending out two sets of cards...bad??)

Pics were taken on day 10 and I sent the announcements out at 2 months. It took me awhile to pick them out.

Our LO was in NICU for 10 days and our newborn session was late. So our announcements went out when LO was 2 months.
