It was around 28 for me... I just always preferred going out for dinner so it was never something I needed to do. Then when I moved in with my now husband, I realized how much he likes home cooked food and decided to learn. Now I (or we) cook around 5 days per week.

In college, once we moved into off-campus housing. My roommate and I cooked dinner together several nights a week!

junior year of college when I had my own (shared w 5 other people) kitchen. I cooked before at my parents' house but not everyday, and then I didn't have a kitchen for the first 2 years of school

When I got my first one bedroom apartment, so 23ish? I had no option but to learn to cook to eat better! I was sick of frozen meals/soup/sandwiches. I would experiment and freeze meals. When I moved in with my best friend 2 years later, we used to cook together all the time for us and my now DH. It was fun!

Around a year ago. We had been living in our house about a year. I've always liked to cook, but I would choose elaborate recipes with a ton of ingredients when I did cook, so we ate out a lot and ate a lot of convenience food. I signed up for an online meal plan, so I've been cooking consistently (and learning a lot).
It was really important to me to get into a habit of cooking healthy/nutritious foods before we have a kid.

18.
I lived in an apartment-style dorm in my first-year of undergrad and there was no cafeteria. My roommate and I were both really into cooking so we made dinner every night and I guess I just never really stopped.

When I moved in with my husband, I was 20. Before that I still lived with my parents & I either was out with friends or at their house or my mom cooked.

High School? I was a picky eater and would make dinner weekly so that I made sure that it was something I would eat. My mom had no complaints. Luckily, I"m not that picky anymore.

I cooked consistently to help my mom out when I was living at home in highschool, but stopped when I went to college. I got married at 21 and have been cooking every meal for DH and I (and now LOs) since.

I'm turning 30 this year and still don't cook! I'm pretty sure I would've started if I married someone that didn't cook either, but who told DH to be such a good cook?!

I think it was during graduate school that I got a lot better at it. Once I met DH and started dating, there were a lot of meals together. We did cooking classes too. I miss cooking for fun or baking for fun. Right now, it's cook to get a meal on the table for the fam and meal plan.

Uh 30 when I had my first DD! I cooked before then, but it wasn't every night. We ate out a lot!
