I stuck to the same solids schedule when we were out. So if you're going to be out at that time, then yes, bring the food.

@Rubies: I'm with you, I've been skipping meals too if we're out. Sometimes I'll bring it, but sometimes I don't. It's hard because I make her food so I keep it in the fridge, and at home I stick it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up. I can't do that when I'm out.

I am the same as @andrea.

I am also a mean mum as I make LO have food and bottles cold from the fridge. Sometimes at home I warm it slightly.

If I am going to be out and about at a meal time then I do find jarred food easier - to transport and less mess.

Same as @andrea too! We kept the same feeding schedule at home and out. Purees were the toughest part for us. I always had to bring a cool pack and then find a way to defrost/warm it up. Usually we would ask for a bowl of hot water and slooooowly warm it or if they had a microwave handy, I would heat it up that way. If we knew that we were going to feed right away (within 30-45 minutes), I would warm up the food before we left and house and keep it warm in the warmer pack.

It got so much easier when he started eating normal adult food!
