LO is 16 months and still drinks her bath water! No bubbles for her until she stops.
Speaking of, which bubble bath do you use if you do?

I have girls, so no bubble baths ever as they predispose to UTI.

@Mrs. Jacks: interesting, never knew that. Why is that?

Well J still drinks the water but I noticed that with bubbles he is more fascinated with them and doesn't drink the water!
So far I've just used the body wash I buy from trader joes. But I want to buy either honest or California baby bubble bath.

@locavore_mama: it has been said that bubble baths with the normal flora an allows for overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria. However, I just looked at cohrane review and review of the literature says that the advice is unsubstantiated. Funny how it's in the regular pediatric advice!

My first bubble bath resulted in inflammation and hives when I was a little girl. LO already has pretty sensitive skin, so we'll probably skip bubbles.

We also notice that lo is less interested in drinking the water when there are bubbles so we started giving bubble baths as soon as she started sitting up in the tub on her own. We use what ever is on sale!

We do it occasionally if they are really grumpy but did avoid due to UTI concerns. I like the CA baby one a lot (the "cranky and overtired" scent) but it's so exorbitantly priced! I also like the honest co bubble bath one only because I subscribe. I thought Burt's bees was very heavy smelling. I can't remember when we started?

We started doing it last month (16 months) when i needed to find ways to get her to stay in the tub. We use the Burts Bees bubble bath.

@locavore_mama: hmmm, somewhere between 13-16 months! I bought a natural one and the bubbles suck so I've only used it twice.

My son started last month and he is turning 1 on Saturday. I use the honest company bubble bath. It's all natural with no yuckies in it.

I don't really do lots of bubbles because the rinse off process is a PITA for us, lol.
I love bubbles, though.

The only "bubble bath" we use is to just pour the soap under the running water and let a few bubbles come up. Just our normal J&J soap.

DH bought DD bubble bath for her 3rd birthday. He bought original Mr. Bubble but it is a treat/reward not an every bath occurrence.

I went through the whole UTI thing from bubble baths when I was little, so even though I think it'd be super fun for LO I don't think we'll do bubble baths. I do remember when I had to stop taking them my mom would fill up the sink with bubbles and let me play with them in there.
