Diaper changes are such a battle, I'd love to potty train LO but it's still pretty early.
When did you start?

We've been introducing him to the concept now (at 19 months). He'll get diaper free time, and when he starts to pee, or tells me potty (he knows the words, although they all pretty much mean the same thing right now) I'll put him on the potty. About 25% of the time he'll sit down and pee in it with no prompting. Unfortunately, this can be messy, but he's had chronically bad rashes and has always gotten a lot of diaper free time, so it's no big for us.
We'll start in earnest when he's closer to two. The day care he's about to start doesn't really start encouraging/helping with it until they're in the 2 year old class, the one above his.

23 months. I think she was ready earlier, but I wanted to settle into life with 2 first.

We bought Miss A a potty to start "practicing" on when she was about fifteen months old and at seventeen months old she now uses it twice a day (morning diaper change and before her bath). Prior to getting her a potty we used to do nudey time on the lawn before her bath and we noticed that she was developing control and awareness of her own toileting so we followed her cues.
Having said all that, she's nowhere near ready to be potty trained because she can't communicate well enough with us or get her clothes on and off so we're not pushing her.

Not until 2.5, but it went very quickly! Pee took 1 day, poo about 2 weeks.
