With DS we didn't have a list going until after the anatomy scan. Same for this pregnancy, probably even less so! I haven't even thought about names yet, we find out the sex in four weeks!

I'm due a month ahead of you. We really haven't had name discussions yet for this LO. I have a few written down, but nothing is really moving me. I think in the next month or so, we'll have more discussions about it.
Part of it is that this LO will have my family names, so I get more of a say. I'm so undecided about names right now. Naming boys are hard.

We thought of names before I even got pregnant! We had a girls name picked out for both pregnancies, but never agreed on a boys name. But it works out because our next one is a girl too!

This time around, I've been thinking of names since we started TTC. But we haven't had any serious name narrowing-down conversations yet and won't until we find out the sex for sure. I think it was the same last time with LO #1.

I have a few in mind but DH doesn't care to discuss it until we know the sex of the baby.

We didn't seriously discuss it until after we found out the sex.

Um, approximately 3 years before getting pregnant. When I actually found out I was pregnant we got serious about narrowing the list. When we found out the sexes, we had three girl names and five boy names. That night I made a list of each boy and girl combination (we have b/g twins) and let my DH choose. He picked the first one on the list which was my fave combination too!

We had a girl name (leftover from DS1), so once we found out LO2 is another boy, we started right away. It only took two days for us. I had a short list saved on my phone that I kept when i would hear names I liked, so it wasn't too bad.

Probably about 3-4 months into the pregnancy. We'd had such a difficult time getting pregnant that it took a while to feel real.

About 10 years ago? We started discussing names we liked back when we were casually dating. Those choices changed, but only because they got SUPER popular; we still like them. We got more serious about name discussions once we got serious about TTC. I'm 13 weeks this time and we have a name picked. Though we won't make it official till she's here just in case it totally doesn't suit her.

I had kept a list in the back of my planner for years. We fine tuned it and dropped a bunch off a few weeks after we got our positive.

I'm not even pregnant yet and we discuss names all the time! I have a list going, lol.

we had a list before we started trying. once we actually got pregnant we waited until we found out gender to discuss names. now all the names we are considering are NOT names we had at the top of our list pre TTC or even immediately after our anatomy scan! things have changed in 10 short weeks.

DH let me know when we were dating that because he was a junior, if he had a son he wanted it named after him. (so I get dibs on naming a girl!)
I had a female first name in mind for years, but since we've been married have also started to consider DH's grandmothers name. I've told him both of my choices, and he's been indifferent about them. But who knows if that might change when we're naming an actual child and not an imaginary one.

I wanted to discuss names as soon as we found out we were pregnant! DH though liked to wait until we knew gender to make it so we only fought about the correct gender of names haha

We talked names before we were pregnant. Like when friend's had one. So I knew we both liked a girl name and agreed on no boy ones. Once we got our BFP, we didn't talk names at all till we knew the gender. Then right after we were waiting to see the doctor and I asked well do you still like R and he said yep, so that was it. Middle name took way longer....like up till I was delivering.

Four weeks post partum. We had a hard time naming number two so DH wants a jump on number three.

Ten years ago when we started dating! We had a list of 3-still love them but all very popular so we will see when there's an actual LO.
I've always had a running list of favorites and DH will veto or say "sure, not bad". I'm always throwing out new names.

I started thinking about names right away. With Liam, we started discussing them early on, but this time, we didn't talk about them together for a couple of months. I was thinking about them and had a list going on my phone from the beginning, though.

Girls name pretty much decided on before I was pregnant

Um, when I was 10! But as for DH and me *together*, we didn't start thinking seriously about names until a few weeks after finding out the sex (around 15-16w). I think he needed time to let the reality of the baby settle in before he could contribute to the conversation.

I had a boy name right off the bat and DH approved. We never agreed on a girl name, I guess because we never needed it? Meant to be!

I've pretty much had an idea of both girl and boy names for a few years now. Luckily DH liked my boy name, so we used it!

Ummm we've been discussing names and I'm only 5 weeks! Im finding it helpful to to take my mind off of how everything is going and it helps my nervousness focusing on something, so I've been thinking about names a lot!

Not until the anatomy scan last time, and I imagine that will be the same for every future kid...we don't want to get ahead of ourselves.

I've been keeping a list on my phone for the past couple years. Once we got a bfp I bought a name book and we have been going through it slowly and jotting down ones we like. But we won't seriously start narrowing down until the anatomy scan, though I personally have some favorites in mind.

Before we got married we had a boy name and girl name picked out. Once we had DS1, we started thinking of a new boy name.

4-5 years before TTC? Something like that? I'm extremely picky about names, there are very few names I truly love, so I realized a long time ago I needed to start keeping a list of all the names I did like. Our really-serious conversations about names started immediately when we got our first BFP.

We started thinking of names when we were TTC. Now that I'm 22 weeks, we havea boy name picked out (minus the middle name) and we narrowed the girls names down to 3, but we still don't have a middle name for a girl yet!

We started discussing some names pretty much as soon as we were TTC... but we didn't start seriously narrowing them down until we were pregnant and knew it was a girl.
