LO is 9 months and I know she doesn't know what we're saying if we use a bad word, but I feel like I really don't know when she'll start understanding so we've stopped using bad words a while ago.

I am still not that great but I tend to abbreviate.. Like I will say s-head instead of sh#t head. Haha. I hope it will be a while before she can figure that out. But she understands everything we say now.

We're starting now, even though my son's not fully verbal. I don't swear a lot to begin with, but my husband is famous for the "side comments" and I don't want my son to learn that from him.

@looch: That's how we are. DH doesn't swear a lot either, but he does sometimes and I always have to yell at him now.

DH and I still speak freely with one another, but we really need to start watching what we say. LO is starting to talk so we have to be careful!

When she started parroting everything we say. I believe my husband's wake up call came when DD repeated "f-ing dogs" lol! (Not our dogs, the neighbor's.)
