I was in 4th grade. I remember cause my "boyfriend" broke up with the next day. Here I thought I was cool with my pink glasses.

I was in 5th grade. I refused to wear them all the time though, so just carried them with me and put them on when I needed to. I switched to contacts in high school and realized how blind I had been for the previous six years!

I was in second grade and I only wore them during class that year but took them off during lunch and recess!

I was in the 2nd grade and they've gotten progressively worse since.
I do remember going to pick up my first pair at foreyes and for some reason my cousins were with us. my much cooler, older (by 3 years) boy cousin was really sweet and said "whoa, Steph you look like you're in college" keep in mind they were huge plastic pink frames, but i still appreciated it and it def made me confident going into school the next day

Grade 2 or 3, so that would be around 7 or 8 years old. My mom didn't want me to drop my glasses so she made me wear a string thing that attached to the frame and went behind my neck. So nerdy and embarrassing.

Summer before 5th grade. Instantly I became a dork until I finally got contacts in 8th grade...crazy how kids associate you with your glasses! It probably didn't help that they were giant, pink, wire-rimmed ones that took up most of my face.

I was also 8! DH was 5 so our soon-to-be LO doesn't stand a chance.

I was 3 years old! And I had to use a patch to correct lazy eye when I was little. So traumatic. I have been glasses free since I was 18, but I know someday I'll have to wear them again.

Going into sixth grade. I also got braces at the same time, and I was really short and had mousy hair. I was reaaaaaaal cool. Butterfly clips were really cool back then, and I loved wearing lots of them. My mom said I had to remove one thing, and unfortunately I couldn't lose the glasses or braces, so my butterfly clips had to go!
Luckily, I got contacts in 8th grade and I got my braces off freshman year of high school!

I wore glasses from about five years old until I was about ten. I had a slight lazy eye, which the glasses fixed. Now, I should wear them to read but rarely do.

I was 14 when I started wearing contacts, I refused to wear my glasses. A few years later I started wearing my glasses, and now I wear them most of the time.

3rd grade, and my eyesite has gotten so much worse. I wear my contacts most of the time in the summer, but they get too dry in the winter so I'm a glasses girl right now!

sixth grade, to see the board. then i got hit in the face with a bright orange lacrosse ball in seventh because i didn't see it coming, and switched to contacts!

11th grade, and they were really only meant as reading glasses but they gave me a prescription so I could wear them all the time. I actually wanted to get glasses because everyone in my family (except my dad) had to wear glasses. I always felt like the odd duck!

8th grade....I needed them much sooner but refused to wear them. By the time 8th grade rolled around I could no longer see the blackboard if I sat in the front row at school, so I bit the bullet. I remember wearing them around for the first time and thinking to myself "oh, so that's what a tree looks like."
