I can't remember, but after around 6 - 12 months, monthaversaries definitely felt way less special. We kept track of monthaversaries mostly to know if our kids were on track... our daughter was delayed, so we kept track of her monthaversaries for longer!
Then between 18 months and 24 months, I totally lost track of monthaversaries.

Um, 6 months? We never did much beyond saying "Oh, the baby's four months today"

What do you mean? I just got my 47-month-er to bed! Just kidding I stopped thinking about her age sometime shortly after 18 months.

I did monthly photos until 1, then I didn't keep track as closely. After 2 I definitely didn't refer to his age in months anymore.

I stared to kind of lose track around 1.5. DD2 is 13 months (today!) but I have to think for a minute when people ask so I'm sure we will lose track around the same age.

I did monthly photos till 12 months, I mentally keep track after that and will probably stop after 24 months.

We still take monthly photos and DS will be 2 in 2 weeks. Haven't decided whether we will keep it up. I love looking back at them. We also took weekly photos until a year and plan to do yearly pics for as long as he'll let us
