LO still sleeps swaddled at 12 weeks, though I am trying to put him down without swaddling more frequently. I think he's starting to outgrow them, and I don't want to buy more! Plus, I'm not convinced he even likes to be swaddled that much anymore.

We stopped at 14 weeks when she started rolling over. It was a sad day!

3.5 months when we sleep-trained. She was breaking out of her swaddle easily by then, too.

14/15 weeks, she was getting out of it and going through a sleep regression, so we figured might as well while sleep is crap anyway. we went to a Halo swaddle, arms out, but she still got the tightness on her chest.

LO was addicted to swaddling and we didn't stop until he was 7 months. *insert embarrassed face here**

2.5 months bc he fought it so badly one night, and as soon as I took it off of him he fell asleep. Haven't looked back, although now at 5.5 months I wish it was still an option.

When he started rolling to the side/rolling over. I was afraid he would roll on his face otherwise!

My LO is 14 weeks and I am fearing the day we have to stop swaddling. I tried to do it the past few days for naps but was unsuccessful. Today, I swaddled her again and she napped for over 3 hours! Ugh...I'm off to search previous threads on swaddling weaning.

I think it was 12 weeks. She never liked it and started waking me up every night just to fall back asleep as soon as I unswaddled her.

two or three weeks! we only ever swaddled in a plain muslin wrap, which he could always break out of. once his startle reflex was gone we gave up on it all together!

5 months, because he no longer stayed asleep when we put him down, and I didn't think it was fair to expect him to self soothe to sleep when he was swaddled.

About 8 weeks we stopped cold turkey. He kept breaking out Of them and slept just as good in a sleep sack.

Two weeks if that. She pretty much hated it after the first week she was born. I had the swaddle me, miracle blanket, aden and anais muslins and she would fight and break out of all of them.

3.5 months. She started sleeping through the night on the very next night after we stopped swaddling. Clearly she was ready for it!

@keiki_mama: same here! 6.5 months for night time, 7.5 for naps .... Whatever works, right?

We stopped at 4.5 months when he started rolling into his tummy in his sleep. We quit cold turkey and the first night was rough but after that he slept better without it!
