I'm wondering when is too old to be in a stroller? our 3 1/2 year old still regularly uses the stroller for long outings but we make her walk for shorter ones. When did you stop using stroller all together?

We stopped using our double when DD was 3.5 and DS 2 months shy of 2yo.

We stopped shortly after she turned 2 because she got a wagon for her birthday. We very rarely use an umbrella stroller we have because she likes to walk and can walk for a long time before getting worn out and needing the stroller.

DD1 is 3 and she rarely uses the stroller but that's because DD2 (9 months) took it over. She would use it if she could but I don't want to buy a double.

We live in a city with no car. My two kids are 3 years apart and we only have a single stroller. My older LO used the stroller ride on board from age 3-5. I told him when he turned 5 he couldn't ride it anymore because it was getting too hard to push almost 100lbs of kids+stroller+stuff. He has been fine walking everywhere since he turned 5 a few months ago. I imagine we'll get rid of the stroller completely when my younger one is between 4 and 5.

My 3y old will sometimes still use the rumble seat when he is tired but he mostly walks.

Age 2 for regular use. I think the last time we used the stroller was last year, though, for a day at a theme park (age 4).

We use it less often at 5 and 2. When we do break it out, they fight for the seat though.
