3 weeks pp. When I left the hospital I was told not to take a bath for at least 6 weeks, but my assigned nurse and midwife both told me I should to help speed along healing (as well as help me relax). They told me to get the water as hot as I could stand it and have a folded up washcloth or towel underneath my butt/lady bits. And no bubbles.

Only hours after giving birth. They encouraged 3 baths a day and it did really help with the pain.

I took one by 3 or 4 days postpartum and was taking two a day for a few weeks. My midwives recommended it for healing my episiotomy.
