Not sure where to put this!
DS is 6 months and wearing sleep sacks to bed. I like knowing he's safe and warm, but it's also a fabulous sleep cue for us. When did you move to actual blankets? Did it mess with sleep cues at all? How'd they like it?

We are 16 months and still in sleep sacks. I was wondering this myself!

Another 16 month old here. We use sleep sacks for naps on the weekend. LO gets a blanket for bedtime which he uses more as a pillow. He only got that blanket a few months ago.

We stopped using sleepsacks around 16 months, but mainly because it was summertime and it was too hot! He slept totally fine without the sleepsack. We introduced a blanket at around 19 months when the weather was cooling off. At first it would just end up balled in a corner but he quickly learned how to cover himself up in it and he LOVES his blanket!
He does use a lovey which is his major sleep cue.

We're still using sleepsacks at 19 months. It's a great sleep cue and they're sure to keep him warm at night, win win. I think we'll probably transition when we move him to a toddler bed.

M is 14 months and still in sleep sacks. She moves around so much when she sleeps - I think she would lose a blanket and never find it again! I also love the sleep sack for the sleep cue.

Around 18 months or so. DS figured out how to get out of his sleep sack and was also climbing out of his crib. We transitioned out of sleepsacks and the crib together.

DD is 18 months and we still use a sleepsack. She loves it. She uses a blanket at daycare, so she would probably sleep fine without it, but I like knowing she is warm and snug at night, plus she is a climber and I think the sleepsack discourages her from trying.
