Madeline has been working on this for weeks!!! She's 8 weeks now and it's really starting to piss her off.

Mine is 8 weeks, too, and sometimes she gets it, but most of the time she just drools all over her hand and scratches up her face.. I feel like she's close though!

Around 9.5 weeks, A just started shoving his whole hand in his mouth. I don't think he cares much about the thumb yet

About 11-12 weeks he was able to purposefully get it in. Before that it was random.

7 or 8 weeks I think. I know she had found it by the time of her 2 month appointment. It's still her favorite toy!
ETA: She still sucks other fingers too, though. She sucked her thumb since then but not exclusively - maybe I'm misunderstanding

My LO is almost 4 months and she just found her thumb this week. 80% of the time she still sucks whatever fingers find her mouth first.

R not only found her thumb but her whole hand. She tries to stuff the whole thing in her hand. She was about 10/11 weeks.

She became a thumb sucker at ten weeks.

Lil B (8 weeks) sucks his whole hand and every once In awhile manages to find just his thumb!

K was frustrated and working on it for weeks too! I think she got it right before 10 weeks! Good luck!

I don't remember when she found it for the first time, but at 8 months she'll consistently suck it when she's ready to go to sleep.

My LO is 6 weeks and she's been working hard at it! This morning she was super happy when she finally found it and sucked away until she fell asleep
. She's been trying again most of the day, but hasn't been successful...so she just sucks on her fist.

Ours never did! Loves her binky though.

In the womb! First thing he did after delivery was stick his thumb in his mouth.

DS never did. He always loved his paci and never wanted his thumb.
