Ryan is 2m and likes the carrier and naps in it especially when all else fails. But the second the paci falls out of his mouth he roots around like crazy! When does this stop?? I didn't baby wear much with my first.

I mostly wear my 2 month old in a ring sling, and she's positioned high enough that she doesn't root because she's at my shoulder. Is there an option as to how he sits in the carrier?

@rattles: i wear him in ergo, ktan, and babyhawk mei tei and he roots like crazy in all of them! He's always like half awake in it.

By 3.5 months it greatly diminished, I don't remember exactly when though. Now she only roots if she is actually hungry or in that almost asleep state but bouncing her around usually gets her over the hump to being completely asleep.

@winniebee: ugh, how frustrating! Mine does that in the Beco but not in the others. I hope he outgrows it soon!

My son never did. I always just wore easy access clothes. We stopped with the Ergo as part of the weaning process. With my daughter she was never as into it as he was, but she still will. She's 19 mos.
After 6 months if you can put him on your back, that would solve the problem!

UGHH this is my issue with the Moby even if I feed her good she still roots like crazy....I think she is just to close to the "danger zone" and being BF it is hard.......
I am looking into the Lilliebaby carrier I saw a lady at the store nursing away and you couldn't even tell...it looked lovely!!!!
