R is almost 4m and still poops after most feeds (except overnight). He's EBF but I thought it would have slowed down by now. Is this normal? I can't remember how long my first did this, but I do remember it was for awhile. I'm already off dairy though I'm not off soy. He's a perfectly happy baby so I don't think it's a food intolerance?

C is 3 months and goes 4-5 days between BMs. -
@oliviaoblivia: wow! We are at opposite ends of the spectrum! That's a long time between.

@winniebee: I never know when it'll happen and it's almost always a huge one. Not sure which is better.

A is almost 3 months and she generally goes 2 times per day but for a while it almost seemed like she was going 6+ times in a 12 hour span (also never overnight)

@winniebee: My daughter had dirty diapers after every feed the entire time she was EBF. Once we introduced solids at 6 months she spaced it out a little more.

She is 5.5 months and she still poops all.the.time. It is insane. Happy as a clam though and it looks normal so no one is worried (well until we are down to the last three diapers
)

I was told that for an EBF baby, after most feeds is normal. BM digests quickly.

i don't think that's unusual even if it's on the more frequent side--particularly if the poop is normal, he seems happy, etc. i think our LO's poops slowed down to about 3 times/day around that age, but there's a big range.

E is 3 months today, and she still varies. Sometimes she poops 2 - 3 times a day, sometimes she goes 2 - 3 days without pooping. Who knows!

L is almost two months and has between 6-8 poopy or mixed diapers a day. I'd say that about 4 of them are big poops, the rest are not as big. Her other wet diapers generally have sharts, but I don't count those. Do so many dirty diapers indicate something? I thought lots of dirty diapers were normal?

So crazy how much it varies! H usually only has 1-2 poopy diapers a day. Sometimes 3-4, and sometimes 0, though that is rare. My ped told me that it's all over the map when they're BF.

K was down to pooping every 2-4 days but lately went back to pooping multiple times a day!

I was exclusively pumping, and by 3 months, he was down to 1 poop a day.

It's normally once a day, although it was 4 times yesterday.

@winniebee: S is 11 months, eats plenty of solids along with BM and poops 5-6 times a day. It is ridiculous. No need to be worried though!

K was always a frequent pooper...after every feed often and at least 2-3x per day. After the first month, E dropped down to once a week or less!!

@oliviaoblivia: omg, A is the same. One time I caught him in the midst of a gigantic poop...kept coming and coming...thankfully no nasty blowout yet.
I think he slowed down at 2 months. That's when it was more like once a week.

C goes all the time. And sometimes they could kill you. PU!!!
