It came back when DD was 10 months, but no reason that I can think of. I had been back at work since 12 weeks, she had been sleeping through the night since 2 months, and had been eating a lot of solids since 8/9 months.
It was pretty regular right away.

I couldn't really vote in the poll... it was around 8 months, but she wasn't a big eater of solids so it wasn't to do with that. Her sleep was awful at that time, so nothing to do with that either... Like others have said above, no real rhyme or reason!

22.5 months, it coincided with the start of weaning and the end of night feeds

2 months pp. ugh, and I brushed around the clock, day and night every hour or two....no weaning, no working, nothing changed. I was super pissed I didn't get longer without it!

With N I came back a month after I pump weaned. (8 months when I weaned). E was nearly two before I got pregnant (and lost it). Got pregnant the very next cycle.

Really surprised there's not more consensus! Guess it really is random then. Thanks for the input everyone.

None of these reasons applied to me. AF came back 1 day before DD's 1st birthday.

AF came back when I stopped pumping and went to just nursing first thing in the morning and before bed at 1 year. It didn't normalize before I got another BFP. It hasn't returned yet after LO2's birth.

it came back 15 months pp. he started nursing less but it still caught me off guard! it was awesome to go that long without it! he was a constant nurser though and JUST started STTN at around 17 months!

5 or 6 months pp. Babe was EBF, not sleeping through the night and cosleeping...

EBF and if returned at 7 weeks as a fluke. But then not again until 6.5 months after a few nights of almost STTN and then again 8.5 months when he was truly going down to one night feeding. And after that it was regular.

About 3 or 4 months PP. I EBF. It was light for the first few months.
