DS is 6 months, and I've trimmed his hair twice now (his hair over his ears grow so fast!), but I'm not sure when I'll give him his official first hair cut.
How old was your DS when you gave him his first haircut? How'd it go?

He was...15 months? Or thereabouts? It went really well! He didn't cry at all (he whined for a few seconds) and it was done in less than 5 minutes.

DS is 8 months and we cut off a chunk of his hair for his baby book. He was born with a crazy amount of hair but a lot has fallen out..

We took him to get his first haircut at 12 months old. His hair grows the most in front and back, so he was getting shaggy that way. Tomorrow is his third haircut at 17 months old. They layered the back a bit, so it's growing out nicely, but is still long.

15 months. It should have been sooner, but I just couldn't do it. Haha

14 months. It went really well - DS was really good, even stayed still! I think it helped that the stylist gave him one of his giant combs to hold.

We horribly trimmed his hair before he turned 1. He has his first hair cut at 18 months.

DS1 was almost 3! He had a mullet and everyone thought he was a girl for a while because the back was really long, but we loved it so much. We finally cut it once the front got long enough to get in his eyes. DS2 is 2 and hasn't had a haircut yet. His hair has grown a lot more evenly and its super cute but in his eyes now so he needs a cut soon. I'm so attached to his hair though so its hard!

14 months and so far they've all been done at home. His hair isnt that long (grows mostly over the ears and in back), so we just trim it up. I'm dreading the day I'll have to take him to a real barbershop b/c I think he'll freak.

I'm hoping to make it to 2 or 3 years old-I really don't like the look of short hair on kids, and I'm sentimentally attached to his baby hair!
