DD is 15 months and she couldn't care less about the TV... unless it's to smash a toy into it.
How old was your LO when they were actually interested in what's on the TV?

He's always liked it, so we have to keep it off or else he watches it

It finally caught his attention 2 weeks ago. So much that he ignores me when I talk to him- then it gets turned off until he listens...just like daddy We've been working on using the TV less because of this new development.
This was a lifesaver last week when we flew across country! I put movies on my ipod classic, and that kept his attention in 15-20 minute increments, even without sound (he hates the headphones!)
He ignores most things, but Little Einsteins, Sesame Street, Pixar movies, and hockey have his attention.

my baby was always interested in the tv even in the newborn stage. We have to turn the tv off when she is around
