My almost 14m old has known how to climb the stairs for a few weeks. But it was just this weekend that she realized she can do it! Now it's stair climbing the second I turn away!
Gotta get another gate for the stairs up to the bedroom.

9 months he did it. But definitely required supervision. We have a bungalow and he doesn't get much practise. So even now at 19 months I stick close to him on stairs.

My 3.5 year old still refuses to climb the stairs by herself. She's a little overly cautious at times

We don't have stairs in our apartment so I don't know when or how she learned, lol, but we were visitng my in-laws around 11 months and she scrambled up their stairs. now at 18 months she is obsessed since we use them so rarely in our daily routine
