I announced on FB in the evening? of the day he was born.

About 4 or 5 hours after she was born, I put an announcement up on FB.

Posted a pic in a private FB group pretty quickly - all my family was 1,500 miles away and eagerly waiting

DH announced on FB the day he was born.

About 5 ish hours after birth. I posted on fb!

She was born at 11:14 pm, I announced the next morning at around 7 am. She was in NICU for breathing issues and I was exhausted and emotionally a wreck. I didn't want to hear the questions "what's wrong with her" due to having oxygen and cords and in a oxygen "chamber"

she was born almost 9:30 pm, and I posted a pic to IG and FB the next day, after we had notified family and friends.

He was born at 7AM, I posted pictured later that day. It wasn't happening right away because I was exhausted from being up and in labor all day/night, mama needed some rest...and a hairbrush and a touch of makeup. Maybe that was just me, but I didn't want the post-labor photos of me where I still looked like a hot mess going up on social media! Thankfully, our families (even my MIL who lovessss FB) was respectful about it and without my even having to ask, no one posted any photos or news of his birth until we were ready and posted about it our selves.
