My son was 4 months old when he got his first tooth, and his second one followed not long after. A lot of people told me that it seemed young. How old was your LO when they got their first tooth?

Charlie got his first tooth around 7 months old. Pretty much all his teeth came in pairs and once he started sprouting teeth, they came nonstop. I think he had all of them by 13 months, and people used to comment on how many teeth he had!

He got his first one at 6 months. I think that was pretty late considering he was drooling at month 3. Now at 15 months he only has 9 teeth.

We noticed about 2 weeks ago that Kylie's first tooth is coming in (6 months old). The second one started sprouting right next to it a few days after.

Dylan got his two bottom teeth and 3 1/2 months old. The rest followed suit after that, and he's had a full set of teeth since he was a year old (he's 19 months now).

3 months! I think he had all his teeth (other than the 2 year molars) by 15 months. Now he's working on his 2 year molars. Please dear lord let them break through soon... he's so cranky and drooly.

Claire started teething at 5 months, actually had one stick out for a day...then it receded! I read that this is not uncommon for first teeth.
Her first actual teeth (that stayed) didn't come until she was almost 7 months old — the two middle bottom teeth. Then, a month later came the top two, but nothing since then. She's now almost a year old and still only has those four teeth.

almost 9 months and still no teeth! =(
i know of babies that had full sets by 4 months, and babies that didnt have any until 10 months. generally though, it looks like the average age is 6-7 months.

6 months for the bottom two to start coming in. Then every few months after that he would get two more. He's 14 mo now and has 14-16 I think. The top 4 and bottom 4 along with 4 molars, and the teeth in between are starting to come through now.

My son got his first tooth at 2 weeks old!! We went to the Dr. and they told me it was just an extra tooth. It fell out pretty early too. His second tooth came in around 4 months and by his 1st birthday, he pretty much had a mouth full of teeth.

her first pair (the bottom two) came a little after 4 months. the second pair (the top two rabbit teeth) came at 6 months.

Our daughter got her first pair on the bottom at around 4.5 months. Everyone told us it was pretty early... I wouldn't have minded her sprouting them a little later, since breastfeeding can be painful at times when there are teeth involved!

The first tooth broke through the gumline at one week before he was 7 months old. A month and a half later he's got 4 teeth and is working on 5 and 6 now.

I wonder if LO will be a early one too. She's started playing with her saliva in the past week and drooling a bit. She'll be 10 weeks on Saturday!
