LO likes to play around with the ball but when I throw it towards her to catch it it just hits her and falls to the ground! She is going on 2.5 so she's still pretty young but I was curious when kids start to be able to catch a ball. She doesn't even really attempt to catch it either, haha!
When did your LO learn to catch a ball? Or when did they start to at least attempt to catch it?

We kind of taught her to catch it around 26 months. She definitely doesn't catch consistently, but sometimes! She does better when I throw a balloon or if we roll the ball.

My DS attempts to catch it at 21 months and has for a while but isn't really close to successful yet. He's very athletic and has very good gross motor skills (can dribble a soccer ball, hit a tee-ball, do summersaults etc) but I think catching is really complicated.
