My daughter is a little over 2 and while she tries very hard, she can't quite figure out how to jump with both feet off the ground..she either just sorta jumps with her feet planted, or does a forward trot type thing, lol!
when did your toddler master jumping?

She's been jumping for probably two - three months. I attribute it to the 4 year old she hangs out with daily!

Probably close to 22-23 months... and now at 24 months it's his FAVORITE thing to do, he jumps everywhere and tries to jump off things. We have a big stuffed turtle that we keep having to put in toy time out because he insists on jumping off it.

M is just over 2 and she's not there yet. She still just kind of bends her knees and bounces.

haha - I thought you meant like - jumping up 2 feet in the air (aka 24 inches), not two feet. Colin figured it out sometime just before age 2, but even now at 2.5 he isn't consistent about it, since he mostly just likes running around like a maniac

Around 22 months. He was super average with most milestones so mama was proud of this one!

Turned 2 in September and hasn't quite gotten it yet. He thinks he is jumping, but it's more of a one foot at a time trot thing

They were both early with jumping. Maybe 19 months?
I also thought 2 ft up! Lol!

Probably like 18-20 months? She mastered it pretty quick after walking at 14 months.

Right around two years, but I've heard that he is on the very early end for this from both our pediatrician and his childcare teacher, that many kids may not do it until 3 or even later.

She's been doing it a lot lately! Really uncoordinated but thinks it's hilarious and sometimes actually managed enough momentum!

She's 28 months and still not jumping with both feet off the ground. She hasn't been around other kids doing things like that much and I think that's a big part of it. We were at a park with an in ground trampoline for the first time last week and she was studying the kids jumping but couldn't quite get it. She's always been a bit more hesitant with the gross motor skills and has consistently been on the later end of normal for most of those milestones. I'm not worried!

Around 19 months, but I definitely think that's on the early end. I know my friend's daughter didn't do it until past 2, but she's always been a cautious child!

Lo has been trying so hard for the last 4 months or so but cant quite get it. One foot always goes way up and the other stays on the ground. Its adorable haha...i need to catch it on video in this inbetween stage he is 20 months. I think he may have gotten a half inch of air a couple times, but im not counting that just yet haha.

Around 19 months. She's still not great at it at 22 months but if certain songs come on she starts jumping.
