When could your LO realize/recognize when they saw another "baby"?

at 5 months he LOVED my niece whos 4. at 7 months he really really started to recongize litle kids and babies and tries hard to get their attention.
sigh, there was a little 2 year at old at barnes and noble playing at the train table and Pierson really really wnated that little boy to come play with him. he kept looking/smiling and squealing at him.... the little boys mom even tried to fet the little boy to come over but nope... poor piers. haha i felt bad for him!

At almost 4 months, my twins are smiling and interacting with each other. We sit them up facing each other and they smile and coo at each other.

She started noticing other kids fairly early on. Maybe 3-4 months? She now loves to watch and be around older kids, but barely notices kids her age or younger.

I would say around four months. She's five months now and does HUGE smiles when she sees other babies

I don't know...she doesn't do daycare so she doesn't see many other babies. She's 7 months. She does love to look at HERSELF in the mirror though! Lol.

We've been in a few instances where someone else's baby will recognize K as a baby and take interest. It will be so cute I think when she can also recognize another baby!

Definitely pretty early on, although I can't remember exactly when. At 1 year, DD always takes notice of other babies and kids. She's never shy with kids the way she is with new adults.
