I think it was around 7 months.... Man, I can't believe I don't remember!

DD has just started trying to sit up on her own. She does it for 30 seconds at most then I catch her. She'll probably be consistently sitting up in a month or so. At least that's how DS was.

LO is almost 6 months and can sit up on his own for awhile if he is busy with a toy. Otherwise he reaches for everything and flops over!

Tripod sitting for a few seconds at a time at 5 months and sitting really well for minutes at a time at 5.5 months. He is 8 months now and can't get into a sitting position on his own but can sit for really long periods.

5 months!

We've been working on it but he is so active he doesn't want to sit still. He is much more interested in trying to crawl. LO is 5 months tomorrow.

He could balance pretty well at almost 8 months, and sit up all by himself at 9 months. He has a giant head to contend with though, so it wasn't easy!

At 6 months he could sit if we helped him. At 6.5 months he could roll into a sitting position by himself. It seemed like it happened overnight!

At almost 6 months she can sit up for about 30s-1min. If she weren't so busy I think she could do it for longer.

tripod at 5 months, completely unassisted and could get to the position on his own at 7 months for charlie.

olive could sit up at 8 months (but she was 7 months adjusted), but always hated sitting up and would almost immediately lay back down on her belly.

I think DD sat up at 6 month and DS was 5 months.
