Not army crawling or worming. Regular old crawling!
LO 1 was 10.5-11 months. TBD with LO 2.
I put this in milestones...maybe the wrong category!

6.5 months and she was off!

7.5 months, a lot sooner than I expected!

11 months, and no interest! He army crawls most of the time, and cruises a little bit.

DS 7 months and DD 8 months.

LO is almost 7 months and no hope in sight!

She just started crawling a couple of weeks ago at 8.5 months. She never army crawled.

9 months, never really army crawled!

10 months and no crawling. A lot of cruising, rolling and walking with a walker/our hands. I really think he's going to skip it.

9.5 months and no signs of it yet. He loves pulling up to a standing position but doesn't cruise. If he's on his belly, he'll push himself backwards, but not crawl backwards. If he's in a sitting position, he'll lean forward to reach for something and quarter turn his body then sit back down and/or push back a bit. That's his mode of transportation right now - lean and turn while sitting.

11 months, then everything in quick succession shortly after.

7.5 months. She does both though. Regular crawling on rugs and army crawling on the hardwood.

6 months for army crawling, and now at 8.5 months she is exclusively hands-and-knees crawling.

6.5 months, never army crawled. She started getting into full crawl position around 5 months, but couldn't figure out how to move. Figured it out one day (last week) and TOOK OFF.

My guy just started crawling last week at 10.5 months. He never army crawled, went straight to crawling. I was getting worried but everyone told me to enjoy!

DD was really into crawling and getting into stuff between 7-8 months. She army crawled for a long time though so we thought she would skip crawling and start walking early but nope, no signs of walking yet.

6.5 months--he sat up straight and unassisted for the first time and crawled on the same day! He was standing up and cruising by 7 months!

DD started regular crawling at 8 months - army crawling started just before 7 months.

Funny how it varies so much! LO wants to crawl, I can tell, but at 6.5 months I think we have a ways to go.

7 months. She worm crawled for one day & then the next she was off like she had a rocket on her back.

@photojane: ya! She doesn't know how to use her leggies. The PT says she has the strength of a 7 month old.
