LO is 8 months old and is eating 2 meals a day, but he LOVES to eat! Like crawls to his high chair and tries to climb up it - loves to eat. When did you start giving LO 3 meals a day?

Just had our 6 month check up and have been doing 2 meals a day. Ped said to go ahead with three!

Same as @knittylady. We had our 6 month visit today and the ped told us we could start a third meal anytime.

I think we started around 9 months.

I think we started around 7 months. LO has been a big fan of solids since we introduced them at 6 months so we just followed his lead and gave more and more of them. At 9 months, he still drinking about 25 ounces of formula a day but man, he also puts down the solids!

I think around 9 months we started doing 3 meals, but I wouldn't say they were 3 REGULAR meals til closer to 10 months.

M will be 8 months next week and she's on 2 meals right now. I'm planning to add a third next week. I'm slacking on it bc it's more work!!!!!

A is turning seven months on Wednesday and is currently eating two meals a day. I plan on putting her on three as soon as we get back from Mexico on the 30th.
