Last year (2) my lo hated being sprayed with water or running through a sprinkler. This year she LOVES it!!

We just played in a sprinkler this weekend and both kids (14 months) were ok with it, but didn't love it. My BIL kinked the hose so it wasn't very forceful and that helped them get closer to sprinkler itself to check it out.

I've been wondering this! LO (15 mos) LOVES water tables, splashing in puddles, etc, but seems terrified of actually going in sprinklers (as opposed to pointing at them...) unless I'm holding her...

My 19 month old loves it this summer!
My oldest started liking it last summer, a couple months after she turned 2.

Right away. DS is 23 months and loves water. He even takes the hose and sprays himself right in the face lol

My LO has always loved it from then first time we took her when she was still crawling....but i know thats a little atypical.

I wish we could do this! Severe drought in CA, so we can't. Good thing there are plenty of playgrounds with splash pads that we can use instead. He was hesitant at first, but at 3, now he loves them.
