My MIL gave LO a tricycle for her birthday but she can't reach the pedals yet. We push her and she scoots with it!
When did your LO start pedaling on their tricycle?

Around 2.5. He wasn't tall enough to reach the pedals when I got it for him at 2.

My DS can reach the pedals but hasn't figured out the mechanics of pedaling yet. I feel like my DD had gotten it by now (28 mo)..

Between 2.5-3...but DS was in the 10th percentile for height and couldn't reach the pedals for awhile!

2.5 years old. He still has some difficultly getting the initial momentum.

DD is tall so she was pedaling away before her 2nd bday.

She is really tall so she was on the tricycle by age 2 and on an actual bike with training wheels a month or two after.
We have two tricycles and the distance to the pedals vary's greatly between the two bikes. If your LO can't reach maybe look at a different model.

Around 2.5. I noticed the sturdier tricycle we borrowed at my mom's house was easier for her to pedal. We have a tiny plastic-y one and it is not so good for balance.
