And when were they able to stand while holding onto something? LO was sitting around 6 months, crawling around 7, and just started pulling herself up to a sitting position right after 8 months. She seems to be wanting to stand, but she can only stay up for a few seconds on her own. I'm not really worried yet, I'm just curious since I seem to read about a lot of other babies her age or younger starting to pull to stand.

That seems like the timeline my lo was on, she started pulling herself up at around 8 1/2 months

About a week shy of 9 months here.

C started right around 9 months. (She was sitting at 5 months, rolling at 6, and crawling at 8.5 months) She started crawling, pulling up and cruising all in about a 2 week period.

Started pulling up to stand on her own at 9 months. She was able to stand holding onto something well before that... maybe even as early as 7 months, but I would have to set her up that way.

She started at 7 months, and could cruise after a week or so. She was pulling up and cruising before she was crawling.

8.5 months. Letting her go barefoot was the best decision i ever made.

DS started sitting around 6 months, crawling at 7 and pulling himself up to the standing position shortly after that. He's just shy of 8 months and last night he balanced and stood on his own unsupported for the first time! I think that is a little early but your's sounds on track with milestones I've heard of

She started pulling herself to stand at 9 months and was cruising holding onto furniture maybe around 10 months? She can stand alone for a couple minutes now at 13 months. Im trying to encourage her to do it more so she will start walking

When he was exactly 7 months. In the bathtub. I almost had a heart attack. He's always been freakishly strong and ahead of the curve on physical milestones, and he can't stand without holding onto something. He just started to (very tentatively) cruise along the edge of the futon yesterday. He can only move to the left though!
