LO is 6 months and doesn't really have arm coordination yet. When will she be able to start reaching for us if she wants us?

LO started reaching for us at around 9 months I think. She's not much of a "reacher" though.

DD started reaching her arms for us at around 8 months & now @ 9 months if we lean over to pick her up she reaches for us right away I was really excited ...it's such a sweet little moment!! I bet your LO will start in the next couple of months

He's 9 months now and I don't know exactly when it started, but he has been doing it for the past month or so. I want to say it started not long after he started crawling. Sometimes it's cute, other times, not so much, lol.

@chopsuey119: I have a feeling my LO will be a reacher. She doesn't love anybody other then her mommy and daddy right now, so I feel like she'll be doing a lot of reaching for us when someone else has her.
@Boogs: I understand that! She already doesn't give us much of a break because she cries when we don't have her, so later she'll be able to physically show us with the verbal that she wants us.

@artbee: Luckily our LO doesn't mind being held by others, but he's not a fan of me trying to get stuff done. Like just now, for example, I was washing dishes and he was crying at my feet and pulling on my pants the whole time.

any day now! RJ is 2 years old and still doesn't really reach for us. He's not a cuddler unless he's sick.
