Not yet....and he's 6.5 months. But he's also a very independent baby and generally doesn't really love being cuddled.

Maybe around 6.5 months. He also reaches for his daddy and my BIL's girlfriend. He's kind of in love with her, though.

@winniebee: We always joke that "she's not family, yet," so BIL better watch out.

Around 9.5 months. She reaches for us when she is hysterical over something!

@TurtleDoves: She's blond and skinny. He also loves Taylor Swift, so I believe he has a type.

Darn my LO is not quite 4 months so I guess I have to wait awhile still...

Any day now! and he's almost 3. Haha. He pretty much never reaches for us, even when he's sad or hurt. Now that he talks he just sits there and demands "pick me up please!" I recently taught him how to "hug and squeeze" though. I guess that's pretty close, but I had to wait 3 years!
I'm hoping LMW will reach out for me because she's much more cuddly than WJ ever was!

@mrs. wagon: awww haha! I'm so excited for her to reach for me. I swear she wants to sometimes. She looks at me expectantly like, "Pick me up, Mom!" But she doesn't have the arms working with that yet.

@mediagirl: if I put my hand near her face, LMW will reach out and grab it with both hands and try to put my fingers in her mouth. So.... that's close... right??!??!
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
@mediagirl: gives a whole new meaning to "bite me"....
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@mrs. wagon: oh yes, that is definitely close. Know what's fun? I know you have been through this with Wagon Jr but it was new for me - the time she reached out, grabbed my hand and bit down on my finger - WITH HER NEW TOOTH! OW! Haha.

@mediagirl: omg this just happened to us too, just yesterday!!! that tooth is RAZOR SHARP!!! I was like ow ow ow, and she just kept biting down harder and actually almost started to cry when she saw my face!!!! lol!!!

Probably around 9 months to a year. He would cry but wouldn't really reach until then. Now that he is almost 2 we get a lot of "up please" or trying to climb us to get in our arms.

@bree72: bahaha cute!
DS is 9 months and has been doing it at least two months though mostly with DH, more recently with me.

It took him about 10.5 months, he is very independent and only started when we worked on teaching him "up".

She seems to do this now, at just about 7 months. She will stick get hand out to try to touch someone though, likes to put her palm on them.
