So Noah is 13 weeks and still hasn't rolled yet and of course like any other FTM it worries me a little. He has started to sit up with assistance and has very good head control but no rolling.
Should I be concerned and is there anything I can do to help him?

LO didn't start rolling until he was 4 months. I caught him in his crib doing it one day before I got him up 
Your LO is 3 months...I don't think you have anything to worry about just yet. If he starts to approach 6 months with no rolling, that's when I would start to bring something up to his pediatrician about missing a milestone.
You can also try to work with him now too. Try lying him on his back...have him follow a favorite rattle/toy across from one side of his body to the other all while crossing one leg over the other in the direction you're trying to get him to roll to. Then place the toy just out of reach to see if he'll continue to reach for it and roll over while doing it!

DS1 rolled at 3.5 months. DS2 rolled from front to back at 4.5 months, but it only lasted about two days. Fast forward a month later, and now he willingly rolls both directions.

11 weeks for front to back and 13 weeks for back to front. She was on the early side for rolling.

6months and no rolling really - she's only just started semi rolling back to front! As far as I know, rolling is like crawling, like an 'optional' milestone?

Rolled front to back before two months, back to front was closer to 4 months.

Thanks ladies the funny thing is he rolls to the side but that's it. He likes sleeping on his side

eta: as far as i know (stand to be corrected!) rolling is nb to develop muscles for sitting - which R has been doing unassisted for over a month, even without rolling. so i kind of stopped worrying!

He keeps rolling onto his side and almost over (back to front) but then gets stuck. So close though! (11 weeks today.) It's good to see there's such a range.

She didn't start rolling until 5 months, and at seven months doesn't roll a whole lot.

@Honeygold89: for us rolling full circle was late. Like 6.5-7m... He was unstoppable after that. It immediately became his preferred method of getting around.

I asked my friend and she said all three of her kids rolled between 4-5 months!

Lo didn't start rolling at all until after 6 months. I think it was something like month 7 before she was doing so consistently. I worried and worried about it too. She sort of figured out rolling wgen she started sitting. She is 9 months now and is unstoppable. Diaper changes are a huge struggle now that she rolls around

@Honeygold89: I did tummy time with her and I also would lay her on her back and take her leg and gently cross it over her body- if that makes sense? The body will naturally roll like that. I watched a YouTube video on it were a pt did it on a yoga ball like that. (I didn't feel comfortable using a ball.) This exercise sort of trains their brain. She needed less and less help and once they do something themselves their brain memorizes it.
I hope that makes sense. I would lay her on her back and gently take her right leg and fold it over and help her gently roll. Then the other way and I made a huge big happy deal each time. When she got onto her tummy she hated enough that she rolled right back onto her back. I also gently helped her roll to her back as well.
She was 2 months. I didn't know when babies were supposed to roll but there is this lady I know from natural childbirth class who blogs and is always like "my kid does this milestone!" so when at 2 months she said her kid loves rolling over I got on it.

My LO is 5.5 months and doesn't roll yet. She went tummy to back a few times around 3 months but then stopped as she started to enjoy tummy time more. She's *thisclose* to rolling back to tummy and has been for like a month, but just won't do that last little bit to get herself over. If I give her a little push on her hip when she's on her side, she'll roll and pop right up on her tummy, so I think she's just lazy. I'm not too worried.

@Honeygold89: Baby D is the same age and has rolled over only once from his tummy to his back. But it must've been a fluke since it hasn't happened again!

@Honeygold89: Also, my LO's pediatrician said that early on, it will seem like babies are rolling from their bellies to their backs, but it's more "tipping" than actual "rolling." She said it's not unusual for a baby to seem like they've regressed after being able to go belly to back, but really what has happened is they've gotten stronger, more stable, and able to control their actions better so they don't tip anymore. I thought that was interesting!

Just an update Noah started rolling last week from back to tummy and then a few days later he started from tummy to back no every morning he's on his tummy when I go to get him out his crib.

@Honeygold89: good for Noah! What a cute photo of him. My LO started rolling back to tummy a couple days before her 6-month birthday. Now it's impossible to get her to sleep because she rolls over and won't roll back the other way so she keeps getting stuck, but she doesn't want to sleep on her tummy! Life was so much easier before, haha.

@PurplePeony: my DD just learned to roll over onto her tummy too! She's 4 months and every time I go to turn her over, she just turns right back over. It's exhausting. I turned her once st nap and thankfully she fell asleep in about 10 min.

She rolled once at five months but didn't do it consistently until a few weeks after that (tummy to back). She still doesn't roll back to tummy all that frequently at 8 months. Don't worry!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: your lo is a week older than Noah or a few days older. He does the same thing he's determined to lay on his stomach most of the times so I just let him.
@Zbug: he doesn't roll tummy to back a lot either only sometimes
