I'm such a proud mama! My LO made up her first song the other day. An ode to her mama! Granted it has one word... Mama but she does sing it. On a walk home she announced "mama song" and started singing it.
Now my sister says she just came up with this song.

Aaaaaaaaw! That is SO cute!!
E is only 9 months so she doesn't have any words to sing yet but she does "sing" along to Twinke Twinke Little Star (she goes uuuugh, uuuugh, uuugh when you sing it! Not in time or anything -she's not that advanced!! Haha!). It's only ever that song she does it to but she does it when you sing it and and when her walker plays the tune!

OMG. So cute.
L is 15 months old and about a month ago he started yelling EIEI!!! (Old McDonald). And a few times last week i heard him singing "round and round" (ish - not exactly but i knew what he was saying) making hand motions. They'd been singing "the wheels on the bus" at school last week.
But singing his own songs? I can't WAIT.

She sings gibberish into her microphone or anything that resembles a microphone to her. We have it on video...it's adorable. I think we are going to have a little show-boat on our hands 
Love it because I was the same way, always putting on a show!

LO is 19 months and hasn't started singing yet, but loves when I sing. We get in the car on the days I take him to day care and I ask him if he wants me to sing. He gets all excited and says, "SIIIIIIIIIIIING!" I can't wait until he starts singing along. He will sit in his seat directing me though. Adorable...

I don't remember exactly, but I think he was around 2 when he started singing. I definitely remember he could sing You Are My Sunshine right before 2.5.

Just recently at about a year she started humming / babbling along while I sing her her lullaby. It's friggin adorable. Not really singing, but I wanted to brag anyway
