LO is 4.5 months old and I work 8 hours a day away from him 
he stays with his grandma, and I'm ready for me to walk in the door and see a big grin and him get really excited for me! it hasn't happened yet!

M is 4 months old and will usually get excited when she sees me. But she gets VERY excited every time she sees daddy! I will say probably since a month?

Hmm, I think it was around the 4 month mark when I noticed that she gets REALLY excited when she sees me. Before that, she seemed happy, but not any happier than seeing anyone else... haha.

LO started smiling and cooing at us whenever she hasn't seen us for awhile. It could be after a nap, when DH comes home, or whenever one of us has her and the other one is out of the room for a an hour. She started doing this about a week or two ago. She's 10 weeks old tomorrow.

I think around 3 months? She gets excited and a big smile when I pick her up from daycare. But I usually need to talk to her for a minute or two so she definitely knows I'm there. It's not a "walk in the room" kind of thing.

towards the end of week 3 she started smiling everytime I took off her diaper, but in She is 4 months + now and When I pick her up from daycare she giggles chuckles and gurgles, especially once I put her in her car seat and she can see her own face in the mirror.

It took Cobi awhile to show pure joy when he sees us too... He is just over 6 months now and it was recent. It's sooo cute, if he's playing in one room and I walk in, he gets the biggest grin and waves his arms and kicks his leg while squealing! I love it. He still doesn't do it when I pick him up from the nursery at church or at the gym... not sure why haha
