DD loves to take things out of her toy basket and whenever I start to put things back, she stops whatever she's doing and starts taking things out again. She also likes to unstack cups, but has never actually stacked them back together.
When did your little one start putting things back after taking it apart?

She's always loved putting things away. I think it's more fun for her to put things away (in baskets, bags, etc) then take them out. If she doesn't feel like cleaning up and she made a mess I'll just sing the clean up song and she'll start putting it away. I guess it makes it like a game for her.

@artbee: I wish DD liked putting things away. I'm just waiting for the day she'll find it fun. What's the clean-up song? Is it something you made-up or something she heard from elsewhere?

She has started putting things into the toy basket but she takes out more things than she puts away. 
Right now it's just play to her, it's not "let's clean up."

@Crumbs: I heard it somewhere.... maybe Gymboree? But I know other people do it because my MIL knew it, she used to be a preschool teacher and director.
