MY LO is 8 months old and has been watched by MIL and my mother ever since he was 6 weeks old. He never showed any signs of separation anxiety, but recently he is so attached to me, and cries when I walk out of the room, and always prefers me over anyone else.

6 months. Luckily, the worst of it only lasted about 2 weeks. Now she's fine if I make a quick exit.

C will be 9 months next week and we still havent seen any.

She had it bad for a week around 10.5 months!

Our daughter is very laid back, so she still doesn't have any strong separation anxiety. I did start seeing small signs of it around 8 months though. Now she is a bit more shy around people other than DH and myself, and she also will whine when we leave her alone in a room. She always comes looking for us. Before 7-8 months, she didn't show any kind of strong preference for who was caring for her or being left alone.

DD is 8 months old and definitely takes a minute to warm up. She never cries when I put her down or hand her off she just kinda stares at people and then warms up with smiles later. She has an enormous family so its hard to make "bonds" with everyone.
She did go ballistic for my mother all night last night for and overnight. I drove home from NYC because she only slept 2 hours between 12 noon and 4am!! Been wondering if that was separation anxiety?

It started around 6 months and got really bad around 8 months. It's still going strong at 10 months.

It started at 5 months and its still going strong at 7 months. She even cries with DH, unless I make a quick and quiet exit. I'm a SAHM that EBF and sometimes I think that is contributing to the problem.
It's gotten so bad at times that I've considered going back to work just to have a few hours to myself to decompress, because most times I can't even put her down to eat, shower, go to restroom, etc.
